Shipping Policy

 

We do our best to get your order to you as quickly as possible.


Order Processing

 

All orders are packed and dispatched within 1 business day of purchase (excluding weekends and public holidays).

Once your order has been sent, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation and tracking details where available.


Delivery Times

 

We ship orders using Australia Post Standard or Express Shipping, depending on the option selected at checkout.

Estimated delivery times:

  • Standard Shipping: 4–6 business days after dispatch

  • Express Shipping: 1–3 business days after dispatch

Delivery times are estimates only and may vary due to Australia Post delays, busy periods, weather conditions, or other factors outside our control.


Shipping Address

 

Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. We can’t be responsible for delays, failed deliveries, or returned parcels caused by incorrect or incomplete address details.


Delays & Problems

 

If your order hasn’t arrived within a reasonable timeframe or something doesn’t seem right, feel free to contact us via the Contact Us page on our website or send us a DM on Instagram. We’re always happy to help.


Lost Parcels

 

Once your order has been handed over to Australia Post, delivery is handled by them. If a parcel is delayed or goes missing, we’ll assist you with lodging an enquiry and keep you updated along the way.

 

Returns, Repairs & Exchanges

 

This policy is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

If you need to return an item, please contact our customer service team first via the email address listed on our website (info@retroclassicgames.com.au). We’ll let you know what to do next and provide the correct return address.

This helps us process your return faster and doesn’t affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law.


Returning Your Item

 

Unless we tell you otherwise, please return all items and accessories that came with your order.

Make sure everything is packed securely to avoid damage during shipping. If an item is damaged due to poor packaging on return, this may affect the outcome of your claim.


Assessment & Repairs

 

Once we receive your item, we’ll inspect it to figure out what’s going on.

If the issue is covered under Australian Consumer Law, we’ll:

  • repair the item where possible, or

  • offer a replacement or refund in line with ACL requirements.

If the item is repaired, we’ll send it back to you once the repair is complete.


If an Item Can’t Be Repaired

 

If an item has a major fault and can’t be repaired, you can choose:

  • a replacement of a similar item (keeping in mind our products are second-hand), or

  • a full refund.


Second-Hand & Retro Items

 

We sell second-hand and retro products. Consumer guarantees still apply, but what’s considered “acceptable quality” depends on things like:

  • the age of the item

  • its condition when sold

  • the price paid

  • how it was described on our website


Your Consumer Rights

 

Our goods come with guarantees that can’t be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You’re entitled to:

  • a replacement or refund for a major fault, and

  • compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

You’re also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they’re not of acceptable quality and the issue isn’t a major fault.
